Meet the Hipskinds

​

First Fruit Group was built on family, faith, and grit. Like most entrepreneurs, our story includes real wins and real scars—especially through COVID, which tested our businesses and clarified our values. We’ve taught our kids that work is honorable, service matters, and you show up even when it’s hard. Carla’s journey anchors ours: raised in Brazil, she worked her way through college, came to America as an au pair to learn English, and built a 100-client business from the ground up. Resilience and care aren’t buzzwords for us—they’re lived experience.

 

We love vending because it keeps us close to people. It’s hands-on, service-driven, and relational, drawing on our B2B background while allowing us to stay present with our kids, coach sports, invest in our church, and serve our community. Inspired by Revelation 22:1–5, First Fruit Group exists to restore, nourish, and steward well. This isn’t a side hustle—it’s a family calling. And a portion of every dollar goes back to help local people in need.
